Georgia provides some of the top-ranking elementary schools in Georgia, which is supported by a large, growing public-education system: approximately 2,730 elementary schools, a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1, and a per-student expenditure of $11,707. The stateGÇÖs College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) recently reported meaningful gains-elementary schools scored 67.8 in content mastery (+3.1) and 86.2 in progress (+0.4). Georgia is also home, near the tops of the list, to high-quality public charter schools such as Atlanta Classical Academy and Scintilla Charter Academy, and leverages UNICEFGÇÖs MICS-EAGLE initiative to support early-childhood alignment and data-driven equity.
