Hoopa sits right by the Trinity River on the reservation in Humboldt County. It's home to about 3,000 people and serves as the main cultural hub for the Hupa tribe, with daily life revolving around the river, the woods, and tribal heritage. For school, local kids attend Hoopa Valley Elementary or the high school in the Klamath-Trinity Joint Unified district.
