Archway Classical Academy Lincoln in Chandler, Arizona, haskindergarten through 5th-grade students and an enrollment of about 714 to 734 students. The school is structured on a two-teacher model in classrooms, withan average class size of about 20 students and a student-teacher ratio of about 10:1. Instruction is defined by weekly and daily tests to gauge student understanding, in addition to a summerprogram guided by teachers and teaching assistants for extra support. Based on state statistics, the academy has excellent school performance, with 86% of students scoring proficient in mathand 80% in reading, far abovethe state average. It has recently been identified as one of the state's highest-performing K-8 schools. Demographically, students consist of 42 to44% White, 25% Asian, 16 to 19% Hispanic, 5% Black, and about 10% multiracial students. Yvette Cooper is the Headmaster, and the leadership team for both Archway Lincoln and Lincoln Prep has over 75 years of total experience.
