Kapolei, which is Oahu "Second City," is a planned city with about 21,000 people that is great for families today. It has strong ties to the community and teaches high school students through projects and new ideas. The public high schools in this area are some of the most diverse in the state, and they have a lot of Advanced Placement (AP) and college-prep classes. The system is known for being better than average at getting students ready for college and for using technology in the classroom. Kapolei is a great place for families who want a mix of tough academics and real-world job training in a growing city. There are a lot of parks, businesses, and schools that do well there.
