Spring Creek Elementary School is a public elementary school in Laramie, Wyoming. It is part of Albany County School District #1. The school has about 270 to 300 students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. With a student-teacher ratio of 9:1, students can get personalized instruction and close support from their teachers. The school uses a standards-based curriculum that focuses on math, reading, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking. It also has enrichment programs, technology, and social-emotional learning. The student body is moderately diverse, with about 20–25% of students coming from minority backgrounds, such as Hispanic and multiracial students. USA News says that about 72% of students are good at math and 62% are good at reading and English language arts (ELA). This shows that they are doing well in all of their core subjects. There isn't any public information about how much money each school spends on each student, but the district's funding suggests that they spend more than average on student resources. It is a good place to learn. The school does well in academics, has small class sizes, and has a positive, engaging school climate overall.
