Presidential Meadows Elementary welcomed Valiza Castro as its new principal for the 2025-26 school year. Castro came to the campus with 18 years of Texas public education experience, including previous work as an elementary principal in Houston ISD. The school also joined Manor ISD's expanded after-school care program launched for all campuses in 2025-26. Manor ISD's Police Department earned a Top 10% ranking with the state's Gold Standard Accreditation during the same period, a safety designation that covers all 15 MISD campuses.
Q1. Does Presidential Meadows Elementary offer a GATE program?
Ans. Yes. Presidential Meadows Elementary has a Gifted and Talented program through Manor ISD. Talk with your child's teacher to start the referral process — the GT evaluation window opens each fall semester across the district.

Ans. Presidential Meadows Elementary is part of Manor ISD's after-school care expansion through the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, which launched at all MISD campuses for the 2025-26 school year. Contact the office at (512) 278-4225 to check enrollment availability.

Ans. Presidential Meadows Elementary students typically continue to Manor Middle School after 5th grade, then to Manor High School. Manor New Technology Middle School is another MISD option for students interested in a project-based learning track.
