Presidential Meadows Elementary welcomed Valiza Castro as its new principal for the 2025-26 school year. Castro came to the campus with 18 years of Texas public education experience, including previous work as an elementary principal in Houston ISD. The school also joined Manor ISD's expanded after-school care program launched for all campuses in 2025-26. Manor ISD's Police Department earned a Top 10% ranking with the state's Gold Standard Accreditation during the same period, a safety designation that covers all 15 MISD campuses.
