Lagos Elementary welcomed Carolyn Parker as its new principal in June 2024, following her promotion from assistant principal at the same campus. Her background includes previously raising a school's accountability rating from a D to a C within her first year as principal at a prior campus. Manor ISD also earned a third consecutive Superior Rating for Financial Integrity from the state for 2025, a district-wide recognition that reflects the kind of administrative stability that benefits individual campuses like Lagos throughout the school year.
Q1. How does Lagos Elementary's bilingual program work?
Ans. Lagos Elementary's bilingual and ELD programs run through Manor ISD's district-wide curriculum. About 39% of students are in bilingual or English Language Development coursework, with Spanish instruction integrated across subjects throughout the school day.
Q2. Does Lagos Elementary have a counselor on staff?
Ans. Yes. Lagos Elementary has one full-time school counselor who supports students with academic and social-emotional needs. Families who want to connect with the counselor can reach the front office at (512) 278-4360 to set up a meeting.

Ans. Lagos Elementary students typically continue to Manor Middle School after 5th grade, then on to Manor High School. Manor New Technology Middle School is also an option for students interested in a project-based learning environment within Manor ISD.
