Ballet Tech, The NYC Public School for Dance, provides grades 4-8 with the unique pairing of strong academics and world-class dance training. It is a partnership between the NYC Department of Education and Ballet Tech; Ballet Tech offers an academically challenging curriculum while providing daily ballet classes to foster creativity, confidence, and discipline.
Many of Ballet Tech’s graduates are found succeeding not only as professional dancers, but also in many other careers, demonstrating Ballet Tech's success in preparing its students for life after the stage. Ballet Tech is one of the best elementary schools in NYC, all while providing a welcoming environment and a high level of teacher satisfaction. Ballet Tech provides an audition-based entry point into a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience.
