Spring 2025 Fine Arts Night: Students dazzled audiences with chorus performances and showcased individual artwork in a gallery-style walk–through. “Paw Store” Drive: Century Oaks invited families to donate gently used stuffed animals for their fun and social Paw Store program, accepting contributions in early April 2025. During Attendance Awareness Week, staff and students boosted school spirit in “Every Minute Matters” t-shirts to celebrate attendance commitment.

1. What’s the personality of Century Oaks like? It’s a tiger-themed school where community, creativity, and spirit come first. From book clubs and PTO gatherings to Family Field Day and “No Cook Nights” partnering with local eateries, it’s where learning meets fun. 2. Who leads the school and how big is it? Principal Cheryl Frederickson and Assistant Principal Ashley Talip guide around 468 students from kindergarten through sixth grade in a caring, inclusive learning environment. 3. What’s a “Paw Store”? A heartwarming initiative where students “shop” for donated stuffed toys, promoting rewards, empathy, and joy in the classroom community. Families are invited to contribute gently used toys to support it. 4. What makes school life exciting beyond classrooms? There’s always something happening—from Battle of the Books to Literacy Night, Hispanic Heritage celebrations, Trunk-or-Treat, Curriculum Night, and Family Game or Field Days. Plus, fun fundraising evenings like McTeacher’s Night have made past appearances. 5. How does Century Oaks emphasize attendance? They champion the “Every Minute Matters” campaign—students and staff wear themed shirts and build school pride around being present and on time (over breakfast too!).
