The problem is that blind people keep knocking on people or objects because they can’t see where they are. There could also be crowds of people and the blind don’t know where to go and accidentally be on the road. You can see this is quite a problem as people could lose lives.

The Solution:

The Techno Blind Stick has a built-in Arduino, buzzer, and Ultrasonic sensors. The Ultrasonic sensor detects any object/person within a 5 feet radius. If it detects anything, the buzzer will start buzzing. This will notify the blind that they are about to bump into something. This is our solution.

The Comparison:

Our blind stick is very different from the rest of the blind sticks on the market because we use sensors to detect objects around the users. It makes various sounds depending on the direction and distance something is around the user; unlike other blind sticks, our blind stick never touches the ground so it will not break any of the components inside. It will never miss a thing around the user so they will never trip.

The Materials:

It is also made of super durable materials. These materials include Polyester, soft faux wood, and rubber.
