Griffin is located south of Atlanta and has a smaller-town feel compared to many parts of the metro area. Around Griffin, there are older neighborhoods, local restaurants, parks, small businesses, and a downtown area with buildings that have been part of the city for many years. People living in Griffin can still reach nearby cities for work or shopping without driving too far.
