The Essex High School math team recently finished in the top five at a regional Math League meet, where they showed off their advanced problem-solving skills against thirteen other schools. The school has reached a new milestone by inducting its first-ever class into the Japanese National Honor Society. This is in addition to its recent athletic success, which includes winning state championships in both girls' and boys' volleyball. EHS also promotes global perspectives through its STEM Academy. Recently, it hosted an international exchange program with students from Tottori, Japan, to encourage scientific cooperation.
