Lindsey Ostrom, a staff member at South Bosque Elementary, was recently named the 2026 Elementary Counselor of the Year. This shows how much the school cares about the health and well-being of its students. The campus recently got a "A" rating from the state for accountability, which shows how high its standards are for academic success. The school's PTO also just paid for a new STEAM lab with 3D printers and robotics kits that students can use.
Q1. Does South Bosque El have a coding or robotics club after school?
Ans. After school, students can join the "Tiger Tech" club to learn how to program computers and build mechanical devices.
Q2. How do visitors check in at South Bosque El?
Ans. All visitors must show a valid state ID to be scanned into the secure safety system at the front desk.
Q3. Does South Bosque El have a "Gifted and Talented" pull-out program?
Ans. Identified students meet with specialists once a week to work on advanced critical thinking and high-level research projects.
Q4. What does South Bosque El do to help students' social and emotional health?
Ans. The campus has a "Morning Meeting" every day to help people get to know each other and learn important social skills.
Q5. Does South Bosque El have a science lab just for that?
Ans. The school has a special science resource room where students in all grades can do hands-on experiments.
