Mountainview Elementary recently reached a big goal by getting a "Gold Ribbon" award for its great work helping students from low-income families. Recently, the school held a "Family Math Night" where parents could help their kids with math by playing games. Also, the campus is benefiting from new security improvements that are being made across the district, such as better systems for letting visitors in.
