In April 2026, Tough Elementary will focus on helping students become leaders through community service. Right now, the school is celebrating their many successes and challenges through the Character Counts! program. initiative. The success of these programs has encouraged students to become more actively involved in the governance of their school and in the mentoring of other students. With a focus on mutual respect and high expectations, the school will support all students in continuing to work toward accomplishing their goals as individuals and collectively in this last quarter of the school year.
