This month, Deretchin Elementary is focusing on academic readiness and spring milestones. The 5th-grade students are getting ready for their Science STAAR tests on April 21, 2026. At the same time, the whole campus is celebrating the continued success of the Two-Way Dual Language program. The school recently shared its April Deretchin Digest, which lists upcoming spring activities that will help its nearly 1,000 students connect what they learn in class to real life.
