This April, Buckalew Elementary is buzzing with excitement after honoring its first Texas Standard Award winners for 2025–2026: Michael Kutka, Corina Martinez, and Katie Chamberlain. The school recently held a nostalgic reunion for 14 retired teachers to show off the new gymnasium facilities. Right now, students are leading morning announcements as "VIPs," and the Bel Canto Choir recently received praise from the whole community for their performance of the National Anthem at The Woodlands High School softball futures game.
