Peters Colony Elementary’s opening resulted in modifications to the times of school zones on North Colony Boulevard due to the closing of BB Owen Elementary. Traffic conditions and timing for speed enforcement were modified to account for the newly demarcated zones and pathways taken by students. This is done in order to ensure increased safety in traffic when the children arrive and depart from school.
