This spring, Joe M. Pirtle Elementary is giving its "Panthers" new ways to be creative! The school has successfully opened its new Makerspace, which was paid for by a Meta Grant from the district. This space lets students work on high-tech building and design projects. Pirtle is still in charge of school culture, and she was recently honored for making it a place where student voice and safety are the most important things. Families can look forward to the Field Day in May, a fun event that promotes fitness and school spirit.
