Comal ISD has made progress recently in terms of expanding the district through several initiatives, including an elementary school named "Rebecca Creek," as well as making significant contributions to improving the District's facilities through the announcement of the forthcoming Dr. Jerry S. Major Middle School, which will address the growth in population within the area and will open during the 2027 school year. Both projects serve to prove that the District continues its commitment to providing students with a quality educational experience by investing in infrastructure and constructing buildings that will create a positive learning environment for students.
Q1. Does Rebecca Creek Elementary provide transport?
Ans. Yes, students who meet the requirements can use the district's buses, as long as they follow Comal ISD's rules about attendance zones and distance.
Q2. What activities outside of school that help students learn are available?
Ans. Students take part in activities like music, physical education, library services, and events on campus that happen from time to time, which help them be creative and involved.
Q3. How can parents keep up with news from school?
Ans. Parents get updates through emails, school newsletters, the campus website, and communication tools used by the district.
Q4. Do students have access to health services on campus?
Ans. Yes, the school has a nurse who helps with students' health needs, medication management, and general wellness during school hours.
Q5. Does the school offer care options after school?
Ans. Yes, there are district-supported services that offer after-school care programs with supervision and planned activities outside of school hours.
