Being Updated
Wakefield proudly served Sherman students for nearly 70 years, making it a long-standing part of the local education community. Sherman ISD honored the school’s legacy by hosting a community open house/farewell event for families and alumni. The celebration highlighted the school’s meaningful impact on generations of students. Sherman ISD is expanding rapidly, with multiple new campuses and facility investments underway as the district grows. Wakefield’s redevelopment is part of this broader modernization effort.
