In February 2026, Sory Elementary was selected by FranklinCovey to be featured in a professional video spotlighting its “Leader in Me” journey. The school was chosen from more than 6,500 schools across 70 countries, highlighting Sory’s exceptional implementation of the leadership-focused program. This recognition puts the school on an international stage and reflects its strong leadership culture. Sory students continue actively participating in the “Leader in Me” program, where they learn habits tied to: Responsibility, Emotional control, Leadership and Goal-setting. Students even presented these leadership concepts to Austin College education students, showcasing their confidence and communication skills. This program helps students build life skills beyond academics.
