Being Updated
Students at Wright Elementary recently worked with Lowe's employees, teachers, and parent volunteers to make things like birdhouses and small lawn tools. During the activity, the students used basic tools and followed instructions one step at a time. This taught them how to put these things together. They also got badges during the workshop, which made it more fun for them. A lot of students liked doing something different from what they usually do in class and working with their hands. By doing this kind of activity, they learned in a new way and felt more sure of themselves.
