A 5th grader from Steubing Elementary was one of the finalists in the Texas Cavaliers River Parade Cover Contest. The student got a scholarship to an art camp and other prizes as part of this achievement. The school's art program also got a $5,000 award for the students' work, which was a nice touch. This shows how much the campus supports creative learning and how students can show off their skills outside of class.
