The 2025–2026 school year has been a great one for Smith Elementary, with many important accomplishments. A staff member from the campus won a Campus Excellence Award, and an early childhood teacher was named a Rising Star for her work with students. The school also got new leaders who were focused on bringing everyone together and helping students do better. The "STAAR to Shine" celebration and school-wide spirit events were some of the things that students did to help make the campus feel alive and connected.
