Students at Royal Ridge Elementary took part in a reading challenge and made it to the final round. During the program, students read for more than 600,000 minutes. Different classes helped by keeping track of how much time they spent reading over the course of several weeks. The school got a grant that will be used to buy more books and other things for the library. During the activity, teachers and staff kept an eye on how the students were doing.
