The Texas Cavaliers' River Parade Art Contest honored students from Roosevelt Dual Language Academy. One student was chosen as a finalist, and her art will be shown on a VIA bus with a Fiesta theme. In the same contest, another student came in second. There were many entries, but both students' work was chosen. The school also got money as a prize for the recognition. The school told students and their families about the update. It showed how student work was chosen at an event in the city.
