Recently, May Elementary took part in a district-wide celebration where the "Simply the Best" Educators of the Year event honored teachers for 2026. The event was a way for people to show teachers how much they appreciated their hard work and dedication to their students. People in the school community were proud when staff members were honored for their hard work. The honor also included students and their families, which showed that the school cared about learning and made it a great place to be. This kind of event shows how important teachers are for keeping kids interested in school and helping them learn.
