Mary Lou Hartman Elementary won the Spirit Stick award for the 2025–2026 school year at the district convocation. The award shows how much pride, teamwork, and energy both students and staff have for the school. The school stood out at the event because it was so involved and had a great atmosphere. The students and teachers worked together with excitement to show off their campus, which led to this award. Everyone at school was proud, and it showed how close everyone was.
