Madison Elementary recently had a proud moment when one of its teachers was named a finalist in the Rising Star category for the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards. This award shows how much she cares about her students and how hard she works in the classroom every day. The teacher and the school both got a cash prize as part of the honor, and she will now compete at the state level.
