The Southwest ISD School Board recently named Ms. Naida Ybarra the Teacher of the Year at Indian Creek Elementary. This was a very nice time on campus. The staff and students were both proud of her because she is known for how well she gets along with her class and helps them every day. At the same time, a student from the school was also honoured for working hard all year and making big progress in their studies. The school community was very happy with these awards.
