W R Fort Elementary welcomed Amanda Snyder as its new campus leader, who brings nearly two decades of experience in Texas public education and previously served as assistant principal at Harry Herndon Elementary within RCISD. Kindergarten Roundup is coming up for incoming families, running as a come-and-go evening event where parents can meet staff and get details on what kindergarten looks like at Fort. RCISD also recently received its highest-ever score on the Texas school financial accountability rating system, an A-Superior designation that supports programming and resources across all district campuses, including W R Fort.
