Ruth Cherry Elementary held its most recent Book Fair, featuring an evening family session and a morning coffee event for parents before the school day began, both of which drew active community participation. Kindergarten Roundup is upcoming, giving families with incoming kindergarteners a chance to visit the campus, meet staff, and ask questions ahead of the next school year. The school participates in RCISD's broader community engagement calendar, which includes school-wide events and parent communication programs run throughout the year at all district campuses.

Ans. Ruth Cherry Elementary offers Project Lead The Way, which brings hands-on engineering and technology challenges into classrooms. Students engage with design-thinking and problem-solving activities starting in kindergarten and continuing through fifth grade.
