A student from Harry Herndon Elementary was recently recognized as a Rotary Club Student of the Month, with principal Jamila Thomas attending the ceremony alongside the student's family. The recognition reflects the school's ongoing focus on students who demonstrate the Rotary Club's core values of service, integrity, and leadership. Harry Herndon continues to build on its Herndon's Heroes identity through school-wide character programming and recognition events. RCISD recently received an A-Superior financial rating, the district's highest-ever score on the Texas school financial accountability system, reflecting strong budget management across all campuses including Herndon.
