Wooden Elementary School was in the news recently due to the retirement of a longtime and well-loved educator with over 40 years of service. Over the course of their career this person had a positive effect on hundreds of students who attended whether they were taught by this person directly or indirectly through another teacher. Along with the many improvements that the district has been undergoing through the use of bond funds, Wooden Elementary is making changes and enhancements to show the long-standing tradition of quality teachers currently working there, as well as providing better facilities for the education and improvement of students at this location.
