Travis Elementary School students took part in a district-wide literacy initiative last week that brought guest readers into classrooms to celebrate reading across grade levels. At Travis Elementary School, students enjoyed a reading day with visitors from the community. Kids picked up books, read aloud, and shared which stories they liked most. The event gave students a chance to explore new books and spend time reading in a lively classroom setting.
