Memorial El was given approval to make improvements to their playground in light of an upgrade program that has been undertaken by the district at large. These improvements represent the school’s dedication to the overall growth of their students, to the enrichment of the community and to excellence in education.
Q1. What is the ‘Memorial Family Center’ and what are its services?
Ans. The Memorial Family Center is a specially allotted room, which offers resources, support from bilingual parent liaisons, and a place to organize parent workshops as well as ESL classes.
Q2. In what ways are the students from Memorial Elementary involved in environmental conservation?
Ans. Students from Memorial Elementary school actively participate in recycling programs and Earth Day events, including beautifying the school’s garden.
Q3. What is the usual class size at Memorial Elementary school?
Ans. Students per class at Memorial Elementary school are few; typically, classes at the primary level consist of under 20 students to facilitate personalized learning.
Q4. Does Memorial Elementary provide students an opportunity to take part in choir?
Ans. Yes, fourth and fifth graders at Memorial Elementary have the chance to audition for the school choir.
Q5. What is a ‘Positive Office Referral’?
Ans. A ‘Positive Office Referral’ is a special trip to the principal in order to honor students for their exceptional efforts or good behavior.
