One recent achievement for Murry Fly Elementary School can be noted from the investment the district has been making for the students. In March 2026, the Ector County ISD and Education Foundation of Odessa launched a $1 million initiative to renovate various libraries across the schools. Murry Fly Elementary School was chosen as the first school for renovation.
