Latest News

Positive changes are happening at Carl Schurz Elementary School that are being supported by the New Braunfels ISD. Carl Schurz has a new principal, Omar Diaz, who brings a wealth of experience in bilingual education and school administration to the new position and will help to bring a higher quality of education to our students. The new playgrounds and upgrades to the campus, which were made possible by the recent bond money, provide students with additional opportunities to participate in their school community. Finally, ongoing district-wide initiatives, such as open enrollment drives and the introduction of new academic programs, will continue to foster student success through providing an actively-changing and forward-thinking educational experience for all students.
