Midland Independent School District trustees reviewed progress on several ongoing renovation projects at elementary campuses, including classroom upgrades and safety vestibule additions planned for the summer. Work on the projects, part of the district’s Bond 2023 plan, is underway and includes design and early construction phases that will affect Long Elementary, among other sites. Trustees discussed schedules for completing improvements and noted that some work will occur during school breaks to limit disruptions.
