A student from Carver Center recently competed in the Midland Reporter-Telegram Regional Spelling Bee. Students from several local schools took part in the event. The Carver Center student did very well in the spelling bee and got a certificate for their place. Other students clapped and cheered. Everyone had fun trying to spell the words correctly in front of the group. This recognition is one of several ways Carver Center students participate in local academic events each year.
