Midland Independent School District recently held its first-ever elementary robotics competition at Barbara Yarbrough Elementary, where more than two dozen teams from across the area took part in hands-on challenges and demonstrations of problem-solving skills. The event was organized through the district’s Career and Technical Education program and supported by local volunteers and student mentors from high school and university programs. Students worked together on hands-on projects, applying STEM skills to solve practical challenges during the event.
