Naomi Press Elementary School recently took part in the McKinney ISD Elementary Science Fair. A number of fifth-grade students received "Excellence" ratings for their work. The students did different experiments and explained their ideas clearly, which showed that they understood basic science. The event was a chance for them to learn by doing and show off what they had done to other people. It also shows how the school encourages students to do things outside of class that help them learn.
