Recently, students from Elliott Elementary School took part in the UIL Academic Competition. Some of them did very well in events like spelling and writing. These contests are a way for students to practice their skills outside of school. It also gives them more confidence and makes them more willing to try new things. The school wants the students to stay interested in their studies because so many of them took part.
