Being Updated
Mill Street Elementary recently received recognition for its visual arts program through a special grant awarded to one of its teachers. The grant supported the creation of a mobile art station that can be used in different parts of the school. This setup allows students to work on art projects beyond the classroom and gives them more flexibility during activities. Students have been using the space to make murals and other creative things while talking to each other. The program has made art classes more interesting and has motivated students to learn by doing. It also shows that the school is trying to give students new and creative ways to learn.
