As part of a school-wide effort to promote student health and awareness, Lakeland Elementary recently started its Kids Heart Challenge. Students are learning important skills like Hands-Only CPR and how to live a healthy life through this program. The activity has gotten a lot of students involved and made learning outside of the classroom more fun. It also brings everyone in the school together by giving them common goals and activities.
