William J Winkley Elementary School kept its #1,706 Texas ranking for the 2024-25 school year. This meant the school remained in the top third of Texas elementary schools. The school's PTA remains one of the more actively engaged parent organizations in the LISD western elementary cluster, supporting enrichment programming and community events throughout each semester.
