Dovalina Elementary School's Wildcats opened the 2025-26 year with Report Card Night on September 24, 2025, giving families a structured evening to meet teachers and review student progress. In September 2025, the campus briefly moved to a delayed 9:45 AM start due to flooding risk — a reminder of the weather challenges the South Texas school calendar brings. The school's library continues after-school AR reading sessions, with Thursday slots running until 5:30 PM. The Wildcats Cheerleaders participated in the Webb County Sheriff's Annual Share A Bear Drive kickoff event in fall 2025, continuing one of Dovalina's most visible annual community traditions.
