Fox Elementary in Klein ISD has been promoting student reading through a campus challenge known as “Fox Trails to 15,000 Tales.” The goal is for students across the school to collectively read 15,000 books during the academic year. Teachers track classroom progress and recognize milestones as students move toward the target. The activity has been used to encourage regular reading time and give students a shared goal that involves the entire school community.
