In December 2024, the Klein ISD Education Foundation awarded a $20,000 grant to Ehrhardt Elementary School to support construction of shade structures at the campus playground, part of more than $61,000 in grants for district schools. The funding is intended to improve outdoor areas used by students during recess and physical education. Earlier in 2024, Klein ISD also announced Lorene Wright as the new principal of Ehrhardt Elementary for the 2024–25 school year, following a board vote in August.
